I create to make waves with my thoughts, body, and soul.
Making art is euphoric as well as powerful. The final product, a flowing tapestry of everyone's experiences is always unique, personal, and remarkably universal. Thus, it creates further waves, rippling change throughout our culture, our ideas, and our perspective.
Art is my medium of choice to help mend the division in our world by showing the universal thread that is woven into all of us.
The impact on the individual is just as significant as the impact on the collective.
Acting gave my past meaning subsequently, giving me purpose.
As a child I did not receive a steady foundation or tools that my peers had, so I assumed that I was at a disadvantage. However, I developed a different set of tools which may not have been of importance in certain systems of life, however were essential to master in order to survive, and now have been proven useful for my career.
Daydreaming and empathy aid me in envisioning new worlds and characters as distinct individuals; I am just the vessel breathing life into them. Acting breathed life into me.
I want to spark ambition and motivation amongst all the souls I can reach. I want people to see that you can come from nothing but still embrace what the world has given you and find your own dignity and power.
My empowerment is through artistic expression.
I only hope that the art I’m a part of helps you to feel seen, loved, and accepted for who you are.
